Quantum Field Theory 1 is a graduate course taught by Dr. A. Ardehali at Sharif University of Technology (Fall 2026). Part I covers path integrals and renormalization following Zamolodchikov's lecture notes; Part II covers gauge theory — QED, Yang–Mills, the Higgs mechanism, and the Standard Model — following Peskin.

What the platform does
This site is a dedicated learning platform for the course: the syllabus and schedule, problem sets with LaTeX submission, course materials, and an AI study companion — built on a fork of an academic LMS.
AI, with humans in charge
An AI service assists with feedback on submissions and answers study questions in adjustable hint modes. It never releases a grade on its own: a human confirms every grade, students consent before their work is processed, and every AI-assisted assessment is labeled.
Open as the semester proceeds
The syllabus is public from day one. After each problem set's due date, its statements and reference solutions open to everyone — the worked problems become a public resource for anyone studying quantum field theory.
